Data Deletion Instructions

Option 1: Self-Service (Workspace Owners)

If you are a Domainchat workspace owner, you can manage data export and deletion directly from your dashboard:

1. Log in to your Domainchat workspace dashboard
2. Navigate to Settings → Workspace Account
3. (Optional) Click Download Workspace Backup (.json) to export your trained data, CRM leads, and chat history
4. Click Delete Workspace and provide confirmation to place your workspace into the 30-Day Recovery Vault
5. (Changed your mind?) Click Restore Workspace anytime within 30 days to immediately reactivate your workspace

Option 2: Contact Us for Immediate Deletion

If you are an end user of a Domainchat-powered chatbot, or a workspace owner requesting immediate GDPR erasure without the 30-day recovery holding period:

30-Day Safety Holding Period & Permanent Purge

When self-service deletion is initiated, your workspace enters a protective 30-Day Recovery Vault. AI agents pause immediately, but all data remains safely stored for 30 days. Workspace owners receive an email notice with a 1-click restore option.

If not restored within 30 consecutive days, our automated purge function permanently deletes all vector database embeddings, transcripts, lead records, and workspace accounts.

Data Deletion Callback (Meta)

For Meta (WhatsApp/Instagram/Facebook) integrations, when a user requests data deletion via Meta's platform, Domainchat will process the deletion request and notify Meta upon completion. Users can also contact us directly at the email address above.
