Connect your WhatsApp Business number to Domainchat
Prerequisites
- ✅ A Meta (Facebook) personal account
- ✅ A phone number not registered on WhatsApp Messenger (buy a new SIM or use a landline)
- ✅ Business verification documents (company registration) — needed for production
- ✅ A payment method (card) — Meta charges per conversation after free tier
Step 1: Create a Meta Developer App
Go to developers.facebook.com and click My Apps → Create App. Select Business as the app type.
- Give your app a name (e.g., "My Business Chatbot")
- Add your Business Manager account (or create one)
- Click Create App
Step 2: Add the WhatsApp Product
In your app dashboard, click Add Product and select WhatsApp. This links your app to a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).
