Connect Facebook Messenger to Domainchat via the platform Meta app

Platform Model

Domainchat uses a platform model — one Meta Developer App for all tenants. You don't need to create your own Meta App.

The platform Meta App is already configured with all required permissions and webhooks. You only need to connect your Facebook Page via OAuth.

Step 1: Prerequisites

✅ A Facebook Page that you manage (must have Admin or Editor role)
✅ Your Facebook Page must be published (not in draft mode)
✅ Messenger must be enabled on your Page (Settings → Messaging → Allow people to contact my Page)

Step 2: Connect in Domainchat

Go to your Domainchat workspace → Channels → Facebook tab and click:

One-Click Connect

Click "Connect Facebook" → authorize in Meta popup → done.

Step 3: Automate Comments with Post Mappings

Facebook comment automation works exactly like Instagram: bind rules to your Page posts, trigger on keywords (exact or AI intent), and deliver CTAs as labeled buttons or real PDF/video/audio attachments in Messenger. Mappings are fully editable after saving — keywords, CTA link, public reply and DM templates, follow-gating, draft status, and the post scheduler (Expires At) that pauses the post when it lapses.
